File Conversion
We serve as an Application Service Provider.
We can handle 2D or 3D vector or raster files. Formats include:
We can also handle flavored translations and specials such as VersaCAD
to ProEngineer's Sketcher format. We do version conversion
within the same family such as VersaCAD or AutoCAD.
The typical cost is $75 setup fee plus $15 per file.
Basic Drafting
We provide basic drafting services. You would provide all
sketches, dimensions, tolerances and notes. We will print/plot and
provide the files on floppy disk or zip cartridge. Files can
be provided back to the customer in the latest versions of .dgn,
.dwg, or .dxf file formats
3D Solid Modeling
You, the customer, would supply all drawings with all the necessary
dimensions for creating a solid model. In the case that dimensions
are missing and you want Archway to complete them, then that constitutes
design work. Design work requires an hourly rate assessment
to complete.
Included will be renderings and files such as IGES, PCX, STL (stereolithography).
And we will supply the customer with the file on floppy disk or
zip cartridge.
SPECIAL OFFER TO 2D MECHANICAL USERS:
If you are interested in getting into 3D but are not convinced
of the benefits, then provide us with your part drawings and let
us convert them into an intelligent 3D Model for as low as $195.00.
We will provide you with the model in STL format so that you can
get a prototype of the part manufactured in no time. We are
convinced that you will see the benefits of moving to 3D.
Mechanical Design Work
We offer you mechanical design work. You would do the layouts,
tolerance stack-up, and all the detail drawings that your company
requires for manufacturing your product. When applicable,
we can do your final detail drawings to ANSI Y14.5M standard and
provide a plot of your drawings up to D size. Files can then
be provided in the latest version of .dgn, .dwg, or .dxf file formats.
Digital High School (California)
In 1999, Archway Systems helped John F. Kennedy High implement
their Digital High School grant. We would like to provide
