Features
SELECT subscribers can download from Bentley's SELECT Stream.
Subscribe to the SELECT NewStream in order to be notified automatically
of product releases, new support services and availability of new
applications. Subscribe at www.bentley.com/csp/news/index.htm.
As a SELECT subscriber, Bentley will allow you to customize what
you want on your CD-ROM. This feature allows you to make up
to five CDs per quarter. Through Internet Explorer, you can
log in to http://selectservices.bentley.com.
Once you arrive at this page, you will see several buttons from
which to choose. By selected the "MySelect CD" button,
you will be directed on how to customize your CD(s). If Bentley
customizes it for you, then they will ship the CD-ROM to you via
UPS at no cost. If you have fast download capability and a
CD-ROM R/W Drive, you can customize it right to your business computer.

Because BEN provides schools the opportunity to subscribe to the
BEN program and not simply purchase Bentley products at a reasonable
rate, it ensures that the schools are working with the latest software
releases along with receiving support from the industry's premier
service and technology subscription program, Bentley SELECT.
Students are also assured of access to this technology by receiving
free student licenses valid while they are attending CAD classes
at their school.
Schools that subscribe to the BEN program receive the best products
available through the A/E/C industry. These products include
Bentley's Microstation and the Engineering Configurations as well
as the GEOPAK Civil Engineering Suite.
Bentley's Career Network provides a location where students
and teachers can discover what professional companies and organizations
are using Bentley products so they can target their job applications
more effectively. Additionally, the Career Network provides
a detailed listing of the schools throughout the USA that teach
Bentley products.
Pricing
When a school decides to participate in the BEN program, the cost
and requirements are as follows:

purchase a minimum of TEN (10) seats |

Approximate
cost is $200 per seat for the first year |

per seat for the second year and beyond is $200 per seat

becomes invalid and the software becomes unusable once you allow

currently enrolled in classes with the BEN program can obtain
free copies that function as long as student is in a BEN supported
CAD class. |
